The Central Illinois Figure Skating Club and Springfield Figure Skating Club have extended an invitation to all figure skaters to attend their joint fundraiser, Skate with a National Champion: Jason Brown. The event is being held on Saturday, July 7 at the Nelson Center (Lincoln Park) in Springfield, IL. Proceeds from the event will benefit HSHS St John’s Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Scott Hamilton Cares Cancer Research Fund.
Registration is free through the website. Each skater will have their own fundraising web link to share on social media networks and can receive donations through the website for the contests. There is also prizes for top fundraising performers.
