Wagon Wheel ASPIRE Program

The Wagon Wheel ASPIRE program is a collaborative effort with our home rink the Crystal Ice House. The program is designed to bridge the gap between Learn to Skate classes and competitive figure skating. The current steps to sign up for this brand new initiative with U.S. Figure Skating are as follows:

STEP 1 - Register with U.S. Figure Skating

To join Wagon Wheel ASPIRE, skaters must first register with U.S. Figure Skating online here

Our Program Director is Kim Johnson. STEP 1 ensures that you have:

  • A full U.S. Figure Skating membership (with testing limitations)
  • Coverage under U.S. Figure Skating’s sports accident insurance policy
  • A subscription to SKATING Magazine (one per family)
  • The ability to test (first tests only) and compete at U.S. Figure Skating Sanctioned events representing “Wagon Wheel ASPIRE”

STEP 2 - Enroll in Crystal Ice House's ASPIRE ICE

Once signed up for Wagon Wheel ASPIRE through U.S. Figure Skating, skaters are eligible to register for Crystal Ice House’s ASPIRE ICE programming here. ASPIRE ICE offers 2 hours of freestyle ice per week - in addition to all ASPIRE sessions per month - plus group on- and off-ice class weekly. Parent education materials are also included in your welcome swag bag.

STEP 3 - Join Wagon Wheel ASPIRE on EntryEeze

Finally, in order for us to be able to share club information with your family, you must sign up for Wagon Wheel ASPIRE here. This step is FREE, and offers a provisional membership aimed to connect new skaters to club activities and recognition programs.

Free benefits of Wagon Wheel ASPIRE that come with STEP 3 include:

  • Email communications from the club
  • Access to 4 to 6 annual U.S. Figure Skating test sessions at our home rink and passed test patches (test fee not included)
