Volunteers:
Volunteers make the competition magic happen!
We hope every member will attend and be a part of the action! If you're not sure where you or your skater would be best suited to volunteer, our volunteer coordinator is happy to help pair you with a role that best suits your skills.
We are always in need of qualified medical volunteers.
If you or someone you know is a PT, OT, Athletic Trainer, EMT, Nurse or Doctor,
please fill out our medical volunteer availability form to lend a few hours.
Thank you in advance for your gifts of time and talent!
Vendors:
We are excited to offer a wide array of in-person vendors for skaters and families to shop in the Lobby throughout the competition. Northwest Designs Ink will be pressing competition gear in person on SATURDAY and SUNDAY (no pre-orders this year); Brilliance & Melrose will be showcasing their beautiful clothing and gifts; Sweet Peas Emporium will be back with their amazing array of delicious goodies; and new this year Kendra Scott will be hosting a table where skaters and families can purchase their popular jewelry on site, with 20% of their sales being given back to Wagon Wheel. Family and friends can even shop with the code in the graphic below and support the Club from afar!
We are thrilled to share that Melanie
Heaney Photography will once again be providing action photography
Benefits of pre-ordering:
Each order includes all action photos taken throughout the program—generally 75-200 photos, depending on the length of the program. One program is $60 and additional programs are $25 each. An additional skater in the same family gets a $10 discount, and we max out families at $145. ALL PHOTOS FROM THIS EVENT ARE DELIVERED ON USB DRIVES. You can pick up your photos about 15 mins after your event finishes. If you enter a mobile number on your order, she will try to text you when the drive is ready if they don't see you. She offers dual-ended drives that have both standard USB and USB-C connections.
If you'd like to see your photos first or if you think you only want a couple of photos, please visit Melanie's sales table at the event. You are usually able to view photos about 10-15 minutes after your skater's group is over. Due to the volume of photos to process and upload, her constant travel schedule, and the fact that she has an infant at home, she can't guarantee that she will catch up on online proofs, so reviewing photos on-site at the event is best!
If you have any questions or if you want Melanie to send you a custom invoice, please don't hesitate to contact her.
Don't forget to use the 2025GCFI code for $5 off your order!
Where To Eat:
Concessions will be available in the Lobby. There is also a skating-family owned business – 4 Suns Plant-Based Kitchen – walkable to the rink. There will be flyers at the registration table. We asked 4 Suns to share a little about their business, and here’s what they had to say:
“We’re 4 Suns Plant Based Kitchen (Robert Crown skating family/co-owned business) located at: 1906 Main Street, Evanston, IL 60202 (kitty corner to Robert Crown – leave your car parked and walk over). We offer fresh juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee/tea, plant based food options—perfect for skaters and their families between events.”
Know Before You Go:
Our Greater Chicagoland Fall Invitational is fast approaching! We are looking forward to a great event and are glad you are joining us. Our "Know Before You Go" document is posted below to assist in your planning.
Please note: The "Feedback Area" mentioned in the Know Before You Go has now been moved upstairs, just outside of Coaches Hospitality, as it has been in prior years.
