Our Annual Awards Banquet is the highlight of the year where it's all about CELEBRATING YOU and your accomplishments!

The 2024 Awards Banquet will be held on June 23rd at Moretti's Barrington. Invitations will follow in the coming months, but make sure you mark your calendars today so you don't miss the fun. And keep working on those testing and competition goals so we can recognize your hard work this June!

LOVE a good skating party? Well you're in luck because we are "taking over" our home rink's Group Lesson VIP Practice Ice on Sunday, 2/11 from 12:40pm-1:40pm for a VALENTINE'S PARTY!

Come be a part of the action and help lead (or just play) games on ice! There will be music, snacks, and prizes (while supplies last!). 

Our Takeover events at the Crystal Ice House are a great place to build friendships and share your love of skating with skaters of all ages and levels. ALL club members are welcome, and you can bring a friend! 

If you would like to lead or plan games, send us a PM so we can involve you in the planning and preparation! 

U.S. Figure Skating is offering a virtual test judge promotional school for singles and dance March 1-3, 2024. School will start on Friday afternoon and run through late afternoon on Sunday. Students must attend the entire school to be eligible for the practical exam. The cost to attend is $10 for education only and $25 for promotion. The deadline to register for the school is December 31, 2023. Click the here to register. A link to the registration form is also available on the Judges page in Members Only.

As a non-profit and 100% volunteer-run organization, we rely upon members to volunteer annually to support club events. The next big opportunity to volunteer is at the 13th Annual Synchro Illinois Competition on January 12-14 at the Robert Crown Community Center in Evanston.

What does your volunteering mean for the club? 

In the case of volunteering at Skating Council of Illinois events, the council distributes most of their profit from competitions to member clubs based upon their percentage of volunteer hours. In other words, your volunteer hours MATTER and will have a direct impact on our club events and programs. 

Plus you'll get to be an important part of an exciting competition and see some awesome synchronized skating!
